Job ID: J010027 Create production-accurate 3D models, materials, lighting, and photorealistic lifestyle scenes for home and furniture products, translating product structure and selling points into high-quality e-commerce and brand visuals.
01
Responsibilities
- Build accurate 3D models from product drawings, dimensions, construction, materials, and process information, ensuring proportions, connections, and critical details align with the physical product and manufacturing intent.
- Create UVs, textures, materials, lighting, and render settings that reflect product finishes and colorways, producing realistic and visually consistent product imagery aligned with the brand direction.
- Plan spatial layout, composition, styling, and atmosphere around the target audience and key product benefits, creating photorealistic lifestyle scenes with strong commercial impact.
- Work with product managers, marketplace operations, and visual teams to clarify requirements, references, channels, and delivery standards for product pages, advertising, social media, and other marketing uses.
- Continuously improve topology, material realism, lighting depth, composition, and rendering efficiency while resolving intersections, inaccurate proportions, noise, color shifts, and other visual defects.
- Manage models, materials, textures, scenes, working files, and final assets under defined naming, versioning, and archiving standards, maintaining a searchable and reusable digital-asset library.
- Monitor trends in home-product visualization, architectural rendering, and e-commerce content; evaluate strong references, tools, and production methods and convert useful approaches into reusable templates or workflows.
- Prioritize multiple concurrent projects against launch schedules, maintaining delivery quality and communicating the impact of requirement changes before adjusting scope or timing.
- Contribute to visual guidelines, rendering standards, and quality-review practices that improve team efficiency and consistency.
02
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in industrial design, environmental or spatial design, visual design, animation, digital media, fine arts, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of experience in 3D modeling, product rendering, or scene visualization; experience with furniture, home products, interior environments, or e-commerce visuals is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more mainstream modeling tools such as Rhino, Creo/ProE, Cinema 4D, or 3ds Max, with the ability to produce high-quality renders using C4D, KeyShot, Corona, V-Ray, or comparable software.
- Understanding of product construction, common furniture materials, and basic manufacturing processes, with the ability to reconstruct products accurately from drawings, photos, and dimensional information and identify missing or inconsistent inputs.
- Strong visual judgment and understanding of color, composition, perspective, lighting, material behavior, and spatial relationships, with the ability to select an appropriate visual direction for each product.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop or comparable image-editing software for retouching, color adjustment, compositing, and output quality checks; experience with AI-assisted design or rendering workflows is preferred.
- Disciplined file-management and version-control habits, with reliable delivery against specified dimensions, resolution, color, and format requirements while keeping assets traceable and reusable.
- Accountable and organized, with strong requirement interpretation, time management, and cross-functional communication skills; able to work independently toward clear deadlines and respond constructively to revision feedback.
- A portfolio demonstrating product modeling, material and lighting work, and photorealistic scene creation is required. Please identify the specific work you completed in each featured project.
