Coupang Marketplace Operations Specialist (Korean Market)

Job ID: J010034 Manage ongoing Coupang store operations across product content, order fulfillment, platform campaigns, and performance analysis, using Korean consumer insight and operating data to support sales growth and account stability.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage daily Coupang store operations, including product listing, link maintenance, price updates, inventory-status checks, and routine account tasks.
  2. Optimize Korean product titles, keywords, detail pages, and other content based on local search and shopping behavior to improve visibility, clicks, and conversion.
  3. Follow up on order fulfillment, after-sales issues, and customer inquiries, coordinating timely resolution to maintain service quality and customer experience.
  4. Monitor Coupang policy, rule, and campaign changes, assess their impact on the store and products, and adjust operating plans promptly.
  5. Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, inventory, pricing, and campaign performance on a regular basis, identify operating issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  6. Track Korean market trends, customer demand, and competitors, translating insights into practical recommendations for product selection, pricing, content, and promotions.
  7. Coordinate with product, design, supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams to deliver product launches, content production, inventory readiness, and platform campaigns on schedule.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above and professional Korean proficiency, with the ability to use Korean independently for product content, platform information, and business communication.
  2. A Korean-language major or study, work, or living experience in Korea is preferred, together with a strong understanding of Korean language conventions and cultural context.
  3. Coupang store operations experience is preferred. Candidates with operations experience on Amazon, Wayfair, or other cross-border e-commerce marketplaces may also be considered.
  4. Familiarity with the Korean e-commerce market, customer needs, and shopping behavior, with the ability to conduct basic market and competitor analysis.
  5. Strong analytical and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify issues in sales, traffic, conversion, and inventory data and recommend improvements.
  6. Strong learning agility, execution, and ownership; able to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate risks promptly.
  7. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across product, design, supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams.
