Responsibilities
- Manage daily Amazon Japan store operations, account health, policy compliance, and operational exceptions to maintain a secure and stable account.
- Create, publish, and continuously optimize product listings; use bulk templates proficiently and run A/B tests to improve the conversion performance of titles, images, and copy.
- Manage and optimize on-platform advertising, adjusting keywords, budgets, bids, and campaign structures according to each product’s lifecycle and performance.
- Manage inventory turnover and replenishment plans; monitor inventory age, stockout exposure, and other key indicators while coordinating with procurement and logistics to reduce shortages and excess stock.
- Consolidate Voice of the Customer, return, and complaint data, and work with product, customer service, and quality teams to identify root causes and drive product improvements.
- Track Japanese market trends, competitors, and consumer demand to identify early opportunities and support new-product development, inventory planning, and mature-product iteration.
- Set annual sales targets, translate them into monthly operating plans, align objectives across product development, procurement, logistics, and customer service, and remain accountable for sales results.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; JLPT N1 or equivalent Japanese proficiency, with strong business reading, written communication, and content-localization skills. A STEM background is preferred.
- At least one year of Amazon operations experience and familiarity with Amazon Japan rules and workflows; experience managing a product through launch, growth, and maturity is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Amazon advertising, account health, inventory, and commercial performance metrics, with the ability to turn analysis into practical action plans.
- Strong awareness of cost and profitability, with the ability to balance advertising investment, inventory efficiency, promotions, and sales targets.
- Strong ownership, execution, resilience, and attention to detail; able to work independently, deliver to a high standard, and escalate risks promptly.
- Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration skills across product, supply chain, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Proficiency with standard office software and e-commerce ERP systems; experience using AI tools, data-processing tools, or scripting to improve efficiency is preferred.
